This item is for a pre-order of our REPOWER gearbox for the Nissan Leaf motor.
The REPOWER gear reduction box uses a set of helical cut planetary gears to achieve a 1.82:1 gear reduction. The planetary gear arrangement allows for the most compact design and keeps the input and output shafts in line for easier mounting. Other gear ratios are available by request. The outer case is CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum to insure the highest standards of quality and finish. The full assembly is approximately 10 inches long and 7.5 inches in diameter and weighs 45 lbs.
Currently, this gearbox is available to bolt to all variations of the Nissan Leaf Motor (EM61 or EM57, all years). If you’d like one adapted to another motor, please contact us.
